This is the sophomore album by the band "La Dispute" and in what seems to be an effort to stop talking about his past relationship singer "Jordan Dreyer" steps to another dark topic and sings about death and the scene of never letting your heart give up hope. The album in terms of music is considerably less aggressive and more story driven then the past album, but the suitable hints of vocal screams and amazing tension building is what really make this album standout from the crowd. Some songs that should get attention that weren't released as singles are "A letter" , "Edit Your Hometown", and "King Park".
Final thoughts: If your a fan of "La Dispute", you will love this album. If your just getting in to "La Dispute" I recommend listening to their first CD all the way through and get a good understanding of where their coming from in order to really grasp the emotional attachment they are slowly trying to forget.
